Shear through the water column as measured by an upward-looking Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler at mooring F6. Note the progression of shear downwards in the fall, some near bottom shear events in winter and then the re-emergence of a shear zone near the surface in early summer, progressing deeper into early fall.
