The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is sponsoring a name change contest for the Neighborhood Environmental Watch NETwork (NEWNET) program here at UAF. To enter, click on entry form link for the entry form and contest guidelines. Information links have also been included for both AISES and NEWNET.

Eligibility: Student, Grade School – University level.

Deadline: March 1, 2002


Entry Form


· Name should be an acronym and contain at least one of the following words: Radiation, Nuclear, Alaska, Northern, Arctic, Radioactivity, Gamma, or equivalent.
· Briefly, explain the significance of the name and why you think it would be appropriate for the program. Explanation should be typed and double-spaced.
· Name and school should be written on each item submitted.
· Complete above entry form, including parent/guardian's signature (if student is under the age of 18). If a group, one entry per person in group must be submitted.
· Mail completed entries to:
