Module 12 Oceanographic Mooring
Edible Mooring

This enjoyable lab introduces many of the physical sensors on a research mooring. After learning about the design and function of specific instruments, students can construct an edible model mobile made of candy! Full-color graphics illustrate the instruments and their locations on the mooring.
